User Accounts -Restoring Documents on server
I have several places in which I have either copied or restored documents or the MY Documents file folder contents on my computer, a desktop (HP slimline, 4 gb)which has been newly configured with WinVista Bizness as a server for backup duty in my office (should a failure occur) tho its used at my home as personal desktop.
I would like to consolidate all these folders and docs into the MY DOCUMENTS file folder, but the VistaBiz SP1 software will not let me copy onto "itself" - using Windows Explorer to copy from different folders or user accounts. I have access to the 2 user accounts involved, and can see them, but can't move/copy them with Windows Explorer. Can someone help me with this? Thank you. |

Why won't it let you copy? What happens when you try?

"the destination folder is the same as the source folder" is the message. Or a similar one.

Well, if it is not a copy issue, then I figure it must be a user access issue. How can I control that? To my knowledge, I am the admin and have access all accounts....
Therefore, I SHOULD BE ABLE to see the files - all of them - in my one file of documents - or copy remainder into my file.... comment? |
