Event viewer error
I noticed the other day in my applications section of my event viewer I have ton of these errors
Level error Source CAPI2 Event ID 11 Failed extract of third-party root list from auto update cab at: http://www.download.windowsupdate.co...uthrootstl.cab with error: A required certificate is not within its validity period when verifying against the current system clock or the timestamp in the signed file. . My OS is Vista Home premium, I can click on the link above and download the file but I don't know if that would do more harm then good and I tracked it back and see that it started like a couple weeks ago so I don't no if it was some windows update that didn't go throw or what Last edited by toomyg; 07-24-2010 at 08:47 AM. |

usually the CAPI2 errors are from Anti-virus....
you might have to start uninstalling things untill you find the app doing it... |

Errors are usually caused by crorrupted registry or other registry errors. You might want to consider checking reliable clean registry articles.
Clean registry articles have helped me solve my computer error problems. It should give you the idea which is the most suitable solution for your case. Hope this helps =) |
