Power and Volume not displaying
I have a Inspiron 1525 running Windows Vista that has stopped showing the power level and volume in the notification area. I went into the properties of the toolbar, but those two buttons in the notification tab are shadowed out so I cannot check them to display.

Hi
Try reinstalling or updating your sound drivers and see if that clears up the problem. You could also try uninstalling the sound device in Device Manage and rebooting so that it is re-detected. Maybe that will get you back to the default settings. Mike |
