Problems with sleep mode Windows 7
Hi
About two weeks ago, I began not being able to put my computer into sleep mode. It would go all the way through saving to disk and then the hard disk light would go out,m but immediatelty then return me to the login screen. The evnet log suggested a problem with BROWSER and with usb device. Iremoved my external USB hub, no resolution. I have now removbed my USB wireless keyboard (after changing batteries), and gone back to a wired keyboard. I can now go into sleep. the only difference I can see at present is that in the past i could wake the computer up by USB trackball keys. Now I have to press the power button. Have I solved the problem? Should I be able to wake via USB mouse? I'm running up-to-date Win 7 64bit Pro, now a wired MS keyboard & USB logitech trackball. James
