email ok but no web

This is strange. I can send and receive email but cannot connect to the web.
win 7 chrome.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried IE or another browser?

Check our LAN settings and make sure that it hasn't been changed by some maleware.

In Chrome, Click on the little wrench, then options, next proxie settings then LAN Settings.

It should be set to automatic and not to some specific setting unless you have set it that way your self.

My friend was having this problem a couple of weeks ago, and he had some kind of fake, antivirus software trojan.

The Lane settings are OK.
I have the same problem with any browser.
It's a windows problem I think.

any other suggestions?

Bit the bullet and reinstalled windows 7.
