high processor usage

Hey guys. So Im taking a look at my wifes computer and noticing its running a bit sluggish. Its a asus k60 with like 4 gigs of ram and nothing is running on it right now...So I take a look in task manager and and her cpu usage is at 67%ish I took a look at processes and nothing stands out as the culprit. I look over at some other processes in the windows action center it has a little flag that says backup in progress. I open windows action center but nothing appears to be running. But that little flag is still there and still says back up in progress. Am I missing something. I included this picture to see if any of you guys spot something that doesnt look kosher.

Thanks guys.

You've, of course, ran a virus and malware scan, correct?

72 processes is excessive. Have you decrapified the laptop and cut down your startup processes?

I see Avast using 25% of the CPU by itself........
