Problems trying to change folder name

How do I change the folder name 'ColinJanis' in the Users folder? (see attached pic)

Oh, and why is there a padlock on the folder?

I'm getting divorced from her so I don't want her name on my PC at all!

TIA.

You can't change a system folder name....You can zap her account from Control Panel->User Accounts

Thanks for the quick reply.

She does not have an account on the PC - only one account - mine.

So it can't be done?

Any idea why the padlock on the folder? I was messing about one day and the padlock appeared.

She had an account on the pc at one time...When you delete them you're given the option of saving the files....

Google-> Windows 7 and folder padlock

Hi

Never mind I was going to suggest something but I figured out it won't work. LOL

I would double check in User Accounts and see if there is still a reference to the old account.
I'm pretty sure that I have removed accounts and deleted the folder in the past.

In fact I'm pretty sure I deleted my own account when I gave my old computer to my nephew.

Mike
