I didn't get anything.
I'm leery of anything that asks for personal information, especially "coming" from a company that already knows pretty much everything about you.

No, it is not legit. It's a clever attempt at getting your personal information. It can be deleted.

Ditto....Hotmail knows your user name or they wouldn't have been able to send the message
 And they sure as heck don't need your password.
