Keep getting this blue screen
http://i53.tinypic.com/ojo1he.jpg
Ok that's the screen I get a lot. Something I have noticed that if I let me computer go for some time, like while a program is installing or if i leave to go do a chore and come back, this pops up. Even if i'm doing something productive, like earlier i was trying to make a screencast, it blued up. Now the only thing that i can think of that contributes to this is my APC USB hub: APC 7 Port Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Hub - 2x Front Facing Ports, 5x Rear Facing Ports, USB 2.0 at TigerDirect.com. Now when I go home, from school, I have an Ultra USB hub, and I have never had a blue screen hooked up to that. The last time I went home, I tried my best to get that screen to pop up, but it never did. So does that mean the APC is faulty, or is there something wrong with Windows 7?

BlueScreenView scans all your minidump files created during 'blue screen of death' crashes, and displays the information about all crashes in one table.
Blue screen of death (STOP error) information in dump files.

Is this the SAME computer that you use both at school and at home? If so, yes, the computer does not like the APC hub.

Yea it's the same one. Is there anyway to fix it? Like a possible driver that i would need to get. Or do you think something's wrong with the APC?

Nope, not worth messing with. If it's not an AC-powered hub, toss it in the trash, you shouldn't be using a passive hub anyway.

It is AC powered, what do you mean it's not worth messing with?

Not messing with = it's given you more than $15 worth of aggravation, replace it with a hub that you know works on that computer, like maybe another Ultra?
It's either defective or the chipset in your computer doesn't like it. |

I wish Ultra made that one I originally bought, but they don't anymore.

Yea I did awhile ago before I tested it at home with the Ultra, they said they never heard of that happening before, but would send me out a replacement. I wanted to wait until my semester was over to do that though, but I wanted to see if it would eventually fix itself, but it hasn't.
