Recently upgraded my computer to an HP laptop (DV6T-1300) running Win 7 Home Premium. My old computer was running XP. I have a printer (HP 7720) and all in one printer / scanner (HP 5500) that worked fine under XP. Now with Win 7 I am having a real strange scanning issue. With my new laptop when I scan a document in it turns each page into an individual jpeg. There are no options that I have been able to find that would allow my to make one single PDF file like I used to be able to do.
Has anyone seen this before? Thank you. |

Stupid question, but has to be asked: Did you install the proper drivers?

You have to install the Windows 7 software suite for the device to get that functionality - if one exists. You may be out of luck. You may have to buy some 3rd party software.

Yes, I have the Win 7 specific drivers installed.
GLC - what third party software are you speaking of? Thank you. |

What exact model is this thing? Just "5500" doesn't tell me what I need to know.
