Angry Fire video streaming Vista

This might be the wrong thread, if it is I apologize.
I have Windows Vista and a lousy Internet Provider so it's difficult to troubleshoot problems sometimes. My connection is wireless broadband, supposedly 1Gbps down and 512MBps up. Thats what I pay for anyway.

I've had this computer with Vista for about a year and a half. Youtube videos streamed (okay) at first. Then for awhile they would stream the first few seconds and freeze with that "loading" circle spinning around. I tried leaving it like that and going off, came back as much as 30 or 40 minutes later and it was still stuck in the same place.

Then youtube videos were back to streaming (okay) again.

For the past few days I'm back to streaming for a few seconds and freezing.

It doesn't seem to be every video. Some (few) will still stream (okay). The majority will freeze. If I close the browser and reopen it the same ones that froze before seem to still freeze up.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the latest adobe flash player so many times I lost count. I even tried installing Firefox instead of IE, but I hated it so much I uninstalled it without really checking to see if it solved the problem.

I've searched thru mountains of questions and forums trying to find a decent solution. I haven't found anything that specifically addresses my problem.

Any help is appreciated

It's quite an obscure problem, hence no one has replied.

Have you another computer you can use to try? It'd be helpful, in order to determine in the problem lies with your machine or your "broad"-band connexion.

Have you tried safe mode?
