Vista browser can't see internet

hello People...

Well I had the wonderful pleasure of looking at a Vista computer today

seems I can't get the IE browser to open up the internet

yet I can download updates etc.

Thoroughly confused in Antarctica New York






the error says internet explorer can not display the web page

Internet Options > Connexions > LAN Settings.

Make sure anything under "Proxy server" is unchecked and that "Automatically detect settings" is checked.

Then try to load a page.

This is usually related to virus activity. Do a malware scan.

Time to run Malwarebytes' Antimalware and clean out the contents of your Temp folders.

The malware set a proxy and the removal didn't set it back.
