Hi Gang
My wifes computer, has a 1T HD, and she partitioned it having Win 7 operating system in one partition, and XP on the other partition. Now she wants to do away with the XP partition. So I tried to format the XP partition and it will not let me. Is it because it has an operating system on it.? She used the XP to play some of her games that were old and would not play on the Win 7. Now she has decided to get rid of the XP. I thought it would be a simple process of formating the XP partition, and that would erase everything on that partition. But like I said it will not allow me to do that. What is the next thing to do.? Thanx...Gunny

I "think" you can use this to kill the dual boot. Then after a reboot the XP partition will become a regular/non system partition.
