Trying to install Windows 7 Home Premium. Using a new WD 500G drive. Gets about 2/3 of the way through the step where in says "Completing installation" and sets there. I let it set for over a hour and nothing. Install progress bar didn't advance, no error msgs., no HD activity, nothing.
Any ideas? Thanks Chas

Download the WD utilities from their website and check your hard drive.

Thanks for the reply, but I got it.
Happened to remember I had a TV card that was no longer being used. Removed the TV card and it loaded. Now I have two Windows files named Windows.OLD and Windows.OLD000 taking up 11G each but I will never use 500G anyway. Chas |
