Boot Manager
How do I install a boot manager to a hard drive that was re formated. I downloaded a few boot managers but if someone knows of a good one for Vista on a emachine please let me know

We need more information.
You shouldn't need a boot manager if you set your BIOS to boot off the DVD drive and your Vista dvd is a good copy.

All I know is after 2 teenage boys, When you turn it on it goes to the BIOS screen and at the bottom left it has boot manger missing

Is there a cd or dvd in the drive or a floppy disk in the floppy drive - if so, remove it and try to boot up again.
Missing boot manager could also indicate that the hard drive died. |

Recent infections often modify the MBR making the drive unbootable. Vista and Windows 7 are a bit difficult to bebuild. See if this info helps.

After you reformat, you have to reinstall the operating system by booting with the recovery DVD.
