PC will not load win 7
Acer LT W/win 7 PC is 5 mo old
Son fell asleep and PC ran all night. He had a blank screen in the AM It will only boot to the Welcome screen. It will boot in safe mode but the start link is dead. I tried F8 and repair. No luck Still boots to the welcome window and that is it. Also tried a go back to working PC but it would not give me a rollback date. Is this probem hardware or soft ware ? Any ideas ?? Thanks for any help |

Please be more specific than just "Acer LT". Did you get a recovery DVD with it?

The specs are printed on a sticker on the unit itself.
Turn on the machine and hold down the Alt key and start tapping the F10 key to get into the eRecovery program which will allow you to reset the machine back to factory. Note that you will lose ALL personal data on it. If you need the data that's on, then you have to take the HDD out and hook it up to another computer to copy your data over.

All the Alt F10 got me was "edit boot options". But there were no options to edit.
