Can NTFS and HFS+ Coexist?
Trying to get a HFS+ Partition on my drive, but cant seem to get it to work. I have tried using Ubuntu Gnome, but the HFS+ option is disabled.
Right now I have a 500GB hard drive with 2 NTFS partitions (50GB for windows, and 150GB for data). Last edited by PatHastings; 05-11-2011 at 04:43 PM. |

I don't think anything can actually create a HFS+ partition except a Mac.

Yeah, hence my question. If you're using an Intel-based Mac, then you already have an HFS+ parttion and can then create an NTFS partition to have dual boot with OS X and Windows. But I don't think you can do it the other way around.

Sorry, but we can't help you with a Hackintosh - installing OSX on a non-Apple computer violates Apple's EULA so our Rule 9 applies.
