7 pro or home?

Hi people,

The thread tiltle says it all really. I have XP pro (sp3) on the desktop, and it does what I need it to.

However, I need to buy a laptop due to changes to my working life. So, what please are the chief differences between 7 pro and 7 home? Most of the work on the lap will be internet, the usual Office apps and some CAD. Also I can see Skype becoming important due to different team members being in different places.

Thanks,

Chris

The major difference is that Pro can access domains. If you need to log in to a network thru a domain server then you need Pro. If you only access Workgroup type networks then Home is fine.
