The standard user account appears worthless
I've just completed reloading my system after a hardware upgrade. I chose to make my personal account just a standard user. Do you realize I can't overwrite a file in my sound sequencer? It won't let me. And when I tried to delete some files I downloaded from the internet I couldn't do that either. In addition to that Windows 7 wouldn't let me move some files either.
Seems to me you can't do jack sh.......under a standard user account. |

That is the purpose of a standard account. The "Standard User Account" helps you to protect your computer from external threats and also from your mistakes (not that you would make any

It's ridiculous. Even in my Windows 7 book the authors came out and said that there is no real reason you would need to use an administrator account cuz the standard user account is that good.
Hardly... Way too many annoyances disrupting your work. |
