RARLab's
I was wondering if anyone can tell me if RARlabs Passwords can be broken very easy by other Program's on the market.I'm asking this not because I want to do stuff I should'nt be doing,I want to keep Key's for my Legit Program's Password Protected in a RAR,I just don't see the point of doing this if the RAR's Password can be broken very easily. What I would like to do is use Notepad to keep the RAR on the put it in a Folder the RAR it with a Password on it.

What exactly are you trying to do? Do you have text files with programs keys and you want to group them all into a .rar file? Any password can be cracked; that's why I keep all my passwords and keys in a notepad: a physical notepad.

I'm Planning on putting all my Keys on a Notepad then RAR the Notepad with RAR and put a Password on the RAR,if I just put the key on a Notepad and do not try to ZIP File it in any form with no Password then my software could easily stolen with no effort what so ever.

On a Notepad? Do you mean a 'Notepad file', as in a file that you create with the Windows Notepad app?

Password protected RAR files can be cracked.
Use a proper password manager application, like the ones mentioned here: Five Best Password Managers

I used Truecrypt and created an encypted chunk of hard drive. Inside that folder resides several other files with various documents, info etc that I want safeguarded. My passwords are in there too. The password to unlock the encrypted stuff is super-long and not written down on any paper, anywhere. I keep a back-up encrypted file in a separate location in case of disaster or theft. It's a similar idea to the OP's, but offers more robust security/versatility I believe.

How do you use Keypass do you use it like RAR where you just set a Password on a certain file,or can I use it to lock a Portable Harddive so it will ask for the Password that is what I would like to do also does keypass have to be on every PC you intend on using the Portable Harddrive.
