windows explorer
every time I open windows explorer it defaults back to the first list being realy norrow. I grab it with the currsor and drag it to the right and it goes right back the next time I open it up. what can I do to fix this problem?

Are you using Windows 7?

Hi
As a work around you can click the icon in the upper right corner of the screen, that labeled Hide the Preview Pane. This will give you a full width panel for the folders when you don't need to see a preview of the files. I agree that's it's kind of a pain that the panel for the folders is always to narrow to show all the information and that you have to use the scroll bar or drag the panel larger. But it only takes a second to make the preview window disappear and display all the data at the same time. Mike |
