Windows 7 permissions fiasco
My file server is also a shared media PC for the entire house. I needed to set permissions on a particular disk drive, so I set the Users group to DENY figuring that admin accounts could still access it since they were set to ALLOW. Apparently this is not how windows permissions work - every single account is now locked out entirely from accessing this drive. Here is what I've tried
None of the above have worked. It seems like I am totally out of luck. Does anyone have other suggestions?
