changing Win7
ok so i have ran into trouble.....
what i want to do is> change the default User file location from theWin-sys SSD to a separate HDD in Win7. heres what i do.....\ first get into system recovery boot command prompt. : BOOT TO INSTALL DISK AND FOLLOW PROMPTS TO "REPAIR TOOLS", choose "Command Prompt" then tryed to find out the correct drives by simple..... dir c:\ dir d:\ dir e:\ dir x:\ thats when i got really confused! drive allocation is different in sys recovery! SOOOOOO to make robocopy and the rest of the sweet command lines work i need to know my drives........... what am i doing wrong? advice much appreciated! |

P.S.
everything worked perfect the first time except i couldnt log back in on my old user password..... robocopy /mir /xj ?:\Users ?:\Users rmdir /s /q ?:\Users mklink /j ?:\Users ?:\Users it all worked but i did something wrong arrrrrr |
