Windows 7 Fonts Folder
I was an idiot and put 3 gigs of fonts into my fonts folder and now my computer is slower than molasses.
I open the folder and can see about 120 fonts but the folder size says 4.2gigs. I have deleted the fonts from the registry but can't get them out of the fonts folder. I click the info on the fonts folder and it says 45,000 files. What should I do? Last edited by ek378996; 08-18-2011 at 10:22 PM. |

Reinstall the fonts. Run ccleaner.
Remove the fonts with the program's uninstall feature or thru 'add remove programs'. Last option, (if nothing else works) after the reinstall, is to just delete them from the fonts folder. Don't mess witht the registry. When you delete the font from the fonts folder (that action) changes the registry for you.
