Windows 7 - Lost password
Was given an Acer el1850 but I dont have the password to open windows.
I am quite happy to reinstall windows from a hidden partition but dont know how. Any suggestions would be welcome! Thanks charddavi |

Reboot the machine; hold the Alt key and start tapping F10 when you see the Acer logo on screen, keep tapping until you hear several beeps. Acer eRecovery should start instead of Windows. If it doesn't work with Alt, try with Ctrl, but I'm pretty positive it's Alt.
