wireless connections

Is there a way to only allow wireless connections to only one AP?
I need to prevent users on several windows 7 laptops from connecting to unwanted wireless connections in the area. They are not on a domain
my suggestion was to start knocking on doors and find the unsecured wireless connections and offer help in securing their network.
but that suggestion was frowned on for whatever reason
I was hoping I could achieve this through the registry, but I cant find a way.
gpo or any policy through AD is not an option just for 10 or less laptops.
