I had a friend bring his PC to me and the first thing I tried was MEM-Test on it because it was Blue screening alot and I have never needed to run MEM-Test before and it has been running for 19 hours testing 2GB of DDR2 Ram and it is still testing the L2 cache it say's is this normal.

I checked my RAM DIMMS (2X256 DDR) on my old P4 Desktop once; took me about an hour. I was using memtest86+, which is free and I recommend it as well.

It keeps running till you stop it. 46 passes is way more than you need, 3 or 4 are usually plenty.
