Desktop icon moves at startup
Every time I start the OS (Win 7) the Recycle Bin icon in the bottom right corner moves one position up. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?
Align icons to grid is checked, auto arrange icons is unchecked. Thanks. Last edited by Dominic753s; 10-17-2011 at 07:30 AM. |

Try unchecking 'align to grid'.

Thanks, but I'd like them to be aligned.

Once you have aligned your icons to the grid, you can uncheck it and they will still be aligned...
Try it out and reboot your PC just so you can troubleshoot this problem further. |

Ok, with 'align to grid' unchecked the icon doesn't move. But it's not very comfortable to check it every time I move an icon.
Thanks anyway. |
