DBAN problem
I am trying to create a boot disk for DBAN. My old DBAN disk got damaged.
The software downloads okay. When I click on it in Downloads a window comes up that offers to burn DBAN to a DVD-R. I have a blank DVD-R in my burner When I click "Burn" to burn the disk in my D drive I get an error message that says "The selected disk image file isn't valid." What should I try?

Why not just use a UBCD? DBAN is on it, along with a lot of other useful stuff.

Thanks George.
I clicked on Download UBCD and it brings up the option for updating my USB drivers. This can't be right. I don't see the option for creating a UBCD boot disk with all the different software UBCD offers. http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/download.html Any ideas on my original problem? I am still curious how to resolve that problem. Last edited by David M; 10-21-2011 at 06:20 PM. |
