Windows 7 bootup, multi OS

Hi, I didn't see this anywhere but i'm sure its out there.

I have windows 7 and "earlier version of windows" (xp) on my PC.

How do I get my PC to auto-boot from the windows 7? instead of waiting at the bootup menu to select Windows 7 or earlier version... or "waiting" for the timer to count down 30 seconds.

Can't you just press enter on the highlighted Windows 7 in the boot manager window?

I'm not on a Win 7 machine...but in older versions-> Control Panel->System icon->Advanced tab->Startup and Recovery button-> you can change the 30 seconds to one second.

Good call, forgot about that. I wonder if it will apply in the boot manager? Let us know.

I am way toooo tired to read that link on 3 hours sleep.

I don't seen the control panel/ startup recovery thing on windows 7. Would like to figure this out though.

Easy BCD fixed it nice program. I set it to 3 seconds, but it shows up for about 1 or less than one, maybe i'll bump it up, but i'm only on windows xp sometimes.
