Vista sleep internet loss ????

when I put vista to sleep I lose my router connection.

I have to use the trouble shooter to find it again.

Normal boot or reboot is fine. Is there a network box not checked?

LT is hard wired to the LINKSYS. router

That's common, I recommend you don't put it to sleep.

No problems like that on my two Vista machines (one wired and one wireless).

Are you running Vista SP2 with all the windows updates, driver updates, etc?

Under the power management settings do you have it set to turn off your network adapter to save power? (That setting shouldn't matter, but it's worth a shot).

Do you have any third party network management software running?
