No Outlook on Win 7

Since there isn't Outlook xpress on Win 7 I have to go through the whole process to get my mail on gMail. Is there a way to do it like before with Outlook? I mean, a one clik way?

The Windows mail program isn't installed by default with Win7 but you can download Windows Live Essentials to get the mail software. I recommend including Photo Gallery as well.
