i downloaded the Wild Divine programs, then had to install RealPlayer and the Babalon search program hijacked my computer, i couldnt get out of their page to run spyware or cleanup utility so i rebooted.
it starts up normally to the Windows page with the animated bar before the log on page, then it crashes. i tried the boot up recovery disk but none of the utilities in the list work. System Restore wont work, disk repair nada.. one of the failed repair attempt's log has an 0x80070003 error. i tried Safe Mode. nothing works. any sugestions.?? thanks this is a computer i built for my wife Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P Intel e5700 core2 4 Gb OCZ HPC Reaper Windows 7 32 bit Pro

i put the hard drive in my EZ-dock2, everything is OK in there, I'm running Microsoft Essentials.. got another hour on that.
i found the Babylon Tool bar, that apparently caused this, in Program Files, i was downloading RealPlayer when it hijacked my browser. i had to reboot the computer to try to get control. it wouldn't let me get into Control Panel to delete it or anywhere out of the Babylon search page. can i delete Babylon in Program Files. in Babylon Tool Bar folder. in Program Files, there is an unInstall bucket symbol. is there a way to run System Restore thru this access.. Local Disk F: for F: this HD boots up to the Windows page 'before' the log on page, then crashes. i discovered why Essentials is taking so long, 4 hours and a long way to go, ..we still have the XP backup file in the HD its going thru everything twice., could what i need to bix the boot problem be in the backup file..?? I would download Microsoft System sweeper from a clean PC, burn the disc and boot the disc in the infected PC and run. Get rid of the problem first. Then you should be able to at least bootup into safe mode and uninstall the toolbar that is causing the problems. Additionally, you had the problem prior to downloading the real player for what it is worth.

i deleted the tool bar and real player when i got into the HD with EZ-DOCK2. when i try to use System Restore it runs for 45 minutes then says restore wasn't possible, i have an 0x80070003 error.
looks like i have to take it in to the shop or do a partial restore. my wife told me yesterday she had her email hijacked and couldn't get into it. someone emailed all her address book contents an email that she was stuck in the Bahamas and to send her $2000, to go home on. this came late because she just fell and crushed her arm and and severely dislocated her elbow. she's been seriously over medicated for a while. I'm going to try this again... instructions are for a computer you can log into.. i cant, it gets to the MS page with the load bare before the log on page and crashes, so i can't log on http://www.wiki-errors.com/wiki-erro...iki=0x80070003 but i can get into the HD Files with my EZ-dock2.. maybe i can run it there.. any ideas how to do that..? Thanks....... Last edited by passn_thru2; 01-17-2012 at 09:37 PM. |
