Hi all,
After removed virus from a windows vista system, reboot the computer and at the welcome screen it shows "Microsoft C++ error" and won't go further (only in normal boot). I booted into safemode, ran diskcheck and everything but still not able to get rid of the error. Please help, thank you.

Please restart system in safe mode with F8 and follow this Gears of War error message: "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library". It will solve the problem for sure.

Thank you for all your input. I got it fixed, disable all of the programs in the startup.
