Files hidden in vista
Hi all
I some time before based on some internet suggestion hid all my directory in a partition. Now when you open the partion you will see it as empty. This is not folder option but some other trick. The system is windows vista. Now I need some body to help me unhide those files again. Please do not ask me to do folder option Umesh |

Just to clarify:
In 'folder options' under the 'view' tab, you have the box checked that says:'Show hidden files folders and drives'? When the files were hidden, did you use a command prompt? This may help: http://www.techradar.com/news/comput...s-vista-445036 It tells you how to make a file 'a hidden file' through its attributes. Folowing this procedure should allow you to change the file's attributes back to a nonhidden file.
