Installing SSD and new OS on a HP laptop

HI guys, I have a question, I currently own a HP DV4T that originally came with Windows Vista ( well is my wife's), like everybody else...I didn't like Vista and upgraded to Windows 7.

Lately I've been thinking on installing a SSD to the Laptop, but I hate the hassle of installing vista and then upgrading again to Windows 7...Is it possible to install an OEM version of Windows 7 straight from the start?.

Thanks in advance for your help.

This external harddrive housing comes with imaging software:
Newegg.com - APRICORN EZ-UP3 2.5" Black USB 3.0 Notebook Hard Drive Upgrade Kit for SATA HD and SSD
Put your new SSD into the housing, install the Acronis software onto the laptop and make an image of the existing Windows installation straight onto the new SSD. Swap the SSD for the old harddrive and boot the laptop straight up. You can then use the old harddrive, after formatting it, as an external harddrive.

The problem with that method is that Windows 7 makes specific tweaks to itself during installation when it is being installed on an SSD. While you can do those manually, the best performance is seen with a fresh installation.
