Mousepad
My friend is driving me mad. He has a laptop with the normal mousepad and buttons. He uninstalled the synaptics drivers, and now his pad is super sensitive, and opens webpage items without having to click.
How can he adjust the sensitivity, as the control panel does not help. He is running "Vista". I do not know the make of his laptop, as he phoned with the problem. I do know the model is "satellite", but not the make. Thanks Jack |

He can visit toshiba.com and click on Services & Support, select Consumer Products, then Tech Support, and select his model from the lists ... Laptop, Satellite, model number. It will then display the support webpages for his model. From those pages he can download the Vista mousepad driver. Also available are user guides, support bulletins relevant to his model, etc.....
Best of luck . . . Gary |

Many thanks for the swift reply. I will paste that into an e-mail, and send it to him.
Thanks again. Jack (UK) |

Have him take a look in:
START--> CONTROL PANEL--> MOUSE--> DEVICE SETTINGS TAB Under this tab there is a "Settings" button where you can adjust all of the touchpad properties.
