Mouse pointers
Just migrated to the new Lenovo in my sig. Works great but I have one very minor, but pain in the butt problem. Changing desktop wallpaper changes my mouse pointer so I have to go into control panel and re-set it. I use the inverted extra large because of my poor eyesight. Win 7 had a place to check to prevent themes from changing it but I see nothing in Win 8.

Hi
Right click on the screen and check Personalise. In the Themes window it should say "Change Mouse Pointers on the left side of the screen. Click Pointers Tab, and set up you pointers the way you want them and save it as a theme. Mine just says "My Mouse". The next time you switch themes just swich it back to your theme before you exit. Maybe there is a setting someplace, I've seen complex ways of stopping the mouse from changing but I don't know of an easy fix. Here is a complicated way of doing it. http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/UploadF...-in-windows-8/ Mike Last edited by MikeMoss; 04-16-2013 at 01:01 PM. |
