laptop reboots no os
 

at work and one of our laptops is less than 3 months old, HP dv2000 with windows 8, the operator had online email account pulled up and listening to Pandora. she walked away from the computer, came back and it now says " boot device not found, install os on hard disc, hard disc (3F0)

rebooted it and hit escape to pull up options and tried system recovery option but it just goes back to the original error screen. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a hard drive failure, this would be covered by warranty.

Did you press F2 for diagnostics?

yes ran the F2 test on the Memory, and HDD all passed
