Dual Booting windows?

right now i'm already dual booting my main OS windows 7 64bit is on my ssd and my 2nd OS is windows 8 64 bit pro its on a 2nd HDD and when im on my main OS the Partition that windows 8 is on is still showing up is there away to hide it so it dont show up under computer of the main os? can it be done? cause its makeing my virus scans take longer to run

You shouldn't have to hide it - just customize your virus scan.

thanks for the info i will do that thats more easy than hiding the drive lol

Or just have your scans run at night. Or whenever you're sleeping.
