Dual boot troubles?

i was wanting to know when dual booting windows 7 and windows 8 has anyone heard of windows 8 ate my windows 7 drive i'm guessing it has to do with when windows 8 boot loader come's up it does a fast chkdsk sometimes well today it did that and when i tryed to go back to windows 7 it woundnt start it would just goto the windows 7 loading screen and get stuck there i have ran test to check the hard drive and it checks out fine so not sure whats going on if anyone has any clues why this mite have happen im not the only one this has happen to it happen to a friend of mine a few weeks ago the same thing any help thanks alot
