Vista upgrade

This may have been asked many times before and if so I apologise for asking again. I built this computer with an OEM copy of Win XP Home SP2. Can I use this to use Vista Ultimate upgrade? Or do I have to buy "full" version? I'll prolly wait awhile anyway but was curious. Thanks, Frank
