Any ideas on how to uninstall this?

OK, Vista Ultimate (x86) upgrade over XP.

I notice I still have Neverwinter Nights (original) on the drive and want to uninstall. When I initiate the uninstall (either through Control Panel or a link in the menu) I get the message:
"The InstallShield Engine (iKernel.exe) could not be launched.
Class not registered"
and the Install program fails to launch.

Any ideas on how to get this off of my system, short of a clean install?

Im New - the OP was quite specific, the program was identified, and 2 attempted methods of uninstall were identified.

I tired this, but inserting the game disc triggers no such action, it simply reads the game as installed.

Send a message via AIM to sgtspector
Imnsert the disk then cancel the game starting or exit out if you cant cancel it. The open explorer and find the setup.exe file and click it. That open the installer and allow you to re-install.
