Vista Windows Mail

I don't know what happened, I shut down my computer like normal and when I
started it back up, now windows mail no longer remembers my mail account
username and passwords, it prompts me every time that I start windows mail to
enter my username and password to login to my isp pop servers.

I've gone into the account settings and the username is there and I've even
re-entered the password making sure that remember password is checked, but
once I shut down windows mail, and start it up again it again asks me for my
username and password for each pop mail account that i have in it.

And vista has also now forgotten all of my usernames and passwords
associated with web forums and login sites as well.

Any clues on this one?

Thank You Bob H.

Not familiar with Vista, but will take a shot. Look in settings for IE and Internet options, under security for a tab to save names and passwords.

I used windows mail on XP a little. I didn't have that problem at all. I would recommend deleting your accounts and starting over. It sucks- I know, but just to new of software to have any decent support on it. BTW< What version of VIsta are you running? Was it a clean install or upgrade?

I not a genius in this field but perhaps your settings have Internet Explorer to delete all internet cookies (*.tmp files) everyday? My dad has that done and it forgets everything... annoying, really.

Clean install. Tried starting over with new account, still no go. I do know that there are other people with the same problem. Nobody seem to have the answer yet.
