dual boot XP / Vista with different HDD drivers

Dual WD Raptors in RAID 0 is currently home to my XP installation. I also have a WD 320GB and 500GB drive. Right now I have Vista installed on the 320GB, but I can't dual boot and here's why (I think):

My Raptors use an "Intel 82801ER SATA RAID Controller" but my 320GB and 500GB use a "Silicon Image SiI 3112 SATARaid Controller". I think this is because my motherboard only has 2 SATA ports per physical controller. In BIOS, changing from OnBoard to OnChip SATA and vice versa determines whether XP or Vista boots. I can, however, access all the drives from both XP and Vista.

Is it possible to dual boot with these drives on separate controllers, or will I have to do something like install XP and Vista on the same physical drive? I suppose I would like to utilize the speed of my Raptors for both OS and game installations but they are only 74GB combined...
