XP MCE OEM or Vista home premium retail?
I'm trying to decide which of the two to get.
If I were to get vista and install the 32bit version for now I could save some money by not having to get XP, but I don't want get compatibility issues. Looking at my PC's specs in my sig, will I have lots of issues with Vista 32bit? Or would it be better for me, some who's building his first PC, be better off going with XP media center edition OEM? Thanks for reading. |

Vista should run fine on those specs, however - what software are you planning to run. If your s/w is going to be compatible or Vista ready then you shouldn't have a problem with it.

I agree with Statica, you're hardware looks great for running Vista. If you were running an Nvidia based vid card we would have to throw the red flag however. nVidia currently is working out the bugs on their Vista drivers while ATI drivers are working fine.
