Are Vista Discs Unique?

I just downloaded Vista from MSDN, legally, and have an official License Key from the site.

I don't own a DVD burner so asked from guys in work to burn it to DVD for me, but I have a feeling they are going to take a copy of the .iso for themselves.

I just wanted to know. Are the discs the same as XP, in the sense that they are not unique and as long as I have the License Key, which they do not, then they are not going to get my copy black marked by Microsoft?

Thanks.

Just like XP, the keycode is the "key" to success.

You need a cd key for the disc .. without which the installation of Vista is going to expire. So you should be fine as long as you dont share your CD Keys

Great

They have given me the DVD, which appears to work, and I did get a lot of questions about how I got license for it, so they blatantly all grabbed a copy of the .iso while they could. Oh well hard luck on them, because it's not going to do them a lot of good.

Yea...they can get a 30 day trial and up to 120 days with out a key...

At the end of the time they'll get a link to buy a key from MS...

Well I just installed it and have managed to find drivers for all my hardware.

So far the biggest improvement I can tell is the visual standards...Vista is truely beautiful!
