I dont know how common knowledge this is, but for newbies try this:
I found this by accident the other day and it actually made my life that little bit easier/less frustrating grrrr.... win XP start>control panel>sounds speech and audio devices>accesibility sound options>choose keyboard tab>toggle keys. Tick the box "use toggle keys" Now when your typing as fast as you can and coz your concentrating on what your typing you forget to look at the screen(like me)and realise you've just typed the whole thing in capitals ,you should get a little bleep telling you the caps lock is on before you get that far next time It works for Numlock as well, but I don't normally get over that end to often.
