Change The Name Of IE Forever
I found this tweak to be interesting also. The directions on the tweakxp site was not working so I did it my way which is easier and doesn't require any tex editor at all. If you want to change Microsoft Internet Explorer to what every you want just do this.
Go to Start>Run>type in regedit>when in the registry go to HKEY_CURRENT_USSER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main. In the right hand pan right click on a empty spot and choose new>string value. Name it Window Title, then right click on the new value and choose modify. In there name it whatever you want, close out the registry and then open up Internet Explorer. Instead of it saying Microsoft Internet Explorer, it will say what every you named it. I named my Window To The World And Beyond. |

I don't use IE much, but I decided to name it "Security hole, please exploit me."

I just found a even easier way to do it. If you have spyware blaster go under "tools>misc IE settings" and there is a dialog box where you can change it.

All this talk about Firefox made me curious. I DL'ed it and WOW! Much more streamlined than IE and faster. I'm hooked!

Yup... another believer for Firefox!
Isn't it fantastic? I wish everyone would just try it once to see what it's like. I know that whoever tries it will like it better than I.E. and will probably never go back. Watch out Mr. Gates... open source apps are coming to town!!!
