sizing the font here
hi folks, im just wondering how i can put the specs of my computer on my reply screec like some folks do...but i also want the font to be small, not large like the time i did it before...the 1st time i did this this is what i did...i went to User CP right up there^...went to..edit signature...clicked size and this is where im making a mistake im sure...when i try to change the size of the font a new window shows up (top of screen) that reads..."explorer user prompt" then i try to click the size i want then it says "script prompt"...then it says.."enter the text to be formatted" ive put my specs in but it still doesnt resize my font size...tried even copying and pasting a word doc but it goes right back to that big ugly font size...lol....any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks....

To have a small font you should put whatever you want to say in [size=1 ] Your text here [ /size ] (Without the spaces). It also helps to make a small sig if you put the specs horizonatly, i.e. Part One / Part Two / Part Three rather than
Part One Part Two Part Three If you do put it horizontally remember to put spaces in, overwise it won't wrap and you will get a really wide signature. |

Do this:
(size=1)text to be resized(/size) - Replace () with [] So you should get this: text to be resized |

You can also use something like this:
HTML Code:
<table width="100%" border="3" align="default" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="2" bordercolor="#485F8D"><tr><td bordercolor="#485F8D"><div align="left"></div><div align="left"><font size="2"><strong><font color="brown" size="2"><marquee behavior="alternate" width=100%><b><font color=#43525F size="2">My system specs</font></b></marquee></font></strong></font></div></td></tr><tr><td bordercolor="#485F8D"><font size="1"><b><font color=#43525F>Mobo: </font></b><font size="1">V-Tech (Pc-Partner) <b><font color=#43525F>Chipset: </font></b>Intel i430TX <b><font color=#43525F>CPU: </font></b>Pentium 200 MMX @ 225MHz (Socket 7) <b><font color=#43525F>Physical memory:</font></b> M-Tec 256MB SDRAM133 <b><font color=#43525F>Videocard:</font></b> Nvidia Riva TNT2 M64 | 16MB VRAM<b><font color=#43525F> Soundcard:</font></b> Creative (ES1370) Soundblaster (PCI64) </font></font><b><font color=#43525F size="1"><b>Currently running: </font></b><font size="1">XP Pro <b></td></tr></table><div align=center><font size=1 color=brown><b>*I cannot be held responsible for any harm to your computer due to my advice*</b></font></div> |
